What is the most exciting thing about graduating high school for you personally? In your response, explain what you are looking forward to most after graduation (college, career, independence, travel, etc.) and why it matters to you.

Prompt Response: The most exciting thing about graduating high school is the fact I don't have to have a rigorous schedule and have to wake up very early for it. But it's also the fact that I can finally become an adult in July having some form of independence, the Independence part matters to me because I don't like to rely on other people otherwise success feel's a bit less valued to me.

Summary: Today in class we watched a TED talk for young people on the question "What do you want to do after high school" and all the things related to it. Afterwards we answered a couple questions about it.

Reflection: Today I learned in class that the path that we didn't think we would take could potentially or most likely become our mainstream path, for example becoming a writer or teacher. This impacted me by making me feel disappointment since I'm young and I don't believe in career's that don't provide a form of stability in your life unless you have a way to sustain that type of lifestyle eventually. In the future I will use this to help me decide my future after high school.

Recall a specific incident when someone’s words offended you. Describe what was said, how it made you feel, and what actions you took in response. Reflect on whether your response helped resolve the situation or changed how you think about communication.
