If you could plan the perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities—what would it look like? Where would you go, who would you bring, and what would you do?

Prompt Response: If I had a perfect spring break with no limitation, money, time, or responsibilities I guess if possible the first thing I would do is go to a really expensive beach resort and have all sorts of wine's and drinks for the first time. The things I would bring would be very minimal because I would just go there with a card that verifies my passage on the ship or beach resort and perhaps a couple food and snacks as I get there along with a towel and sunscreen.

Summary: Today in class we read a short article about why eating bugs isn't as bad as we think it is and answered questions about it.

Reflection: Today I learned that bugs can have tasty and unique flavors to them, that even our ancestors ate bugs before. This impacted me by making me feel that a bit of disgust because as the article said it's common to find a disinterest in eating things that were once moving or contain something in them. In the future I will use this to encourage myself to try eating bugs that are tasty.

What have your parents told you about your birth?

When Celie says, “The God I been praying and writing to is a man. And act just like all the other mens I know,” she expresses disappointment, betrayal, and disillusionment. Discuss a moment in your own life when something you believed in turned out to be different than what you imagined. How did this realization shape your identity or worldview?

Recall a specific incident when someone’s words offended you. Describe what was said, how it made you feel, and what actions you took in response. Reflect on whether your response helped resolve the situation or changed how you think about communication.
