As we move toward the end of the semester, what are your top three college choices right now? Identify the colleges and explain why you are attracted to each one. Even if college is not currently on your radar, you must still respond to the question and explain your thinking.

 Prompt Response: As we move towards the end of the semester, the top three college choices right now that I have in mind even though I'm not going to college are Harvard, MIT, and Georgia Tech. If you haven't seen the pattern the reason why I chose these three is because these college's are known for being advanced in the technology/engineering career department and will forward my chances of having a successful life or what I define a better life. 

Summary: Today in class we wrote three claims and started picking out evidence for them. 

Reflection: Today I learned that Cheryl's journey is not just about loss, but also her insecurity about herself as she moves about in her journey of the PCT. This impacted me by making me feel a sense of connection with Cheryl as she often embodies what a regular human is like unlike fictional characters who display unrealistic emotions and goals. In the future I will use this when writing my essay and discussing it to others.

 Prompt Response: My parents have told me that I was born in Mumbai and in a hospital and when I was being born the umbilical cord was around my neck depriving me of oxygen.  Prompt Response: When someone called me an idiot, as they said "Why is someone like you part of our group, your the most idiotic and unhelpful person I met". It made my self-esteem lower by a whole bunch of points and sooner or later I stopped trying in my classes to what defined that title for me as what I thought was idiotic;what an idiot was and made me interact with others less.  Summary: Today in class we went over a short essay "Incident" by Countee Cullen, and analyzed the poem; As well as discussing what the poem was about and the two themes of it. Before the Civil War, most people saw nothing wrong with children working long hours. Over time, people began to see it as unfair and even cruel. What is something that society once accepted but now sees as wrong, or something we still accept today that might be viewed as wrong in the future? Explain your reasoning.

 Prompt Response: Something we still accept that will most likely be seen as wrong and not done in the future is racism as we start to see as a society it is mixed as sometimes it can often be seen as good and bad. In today's society we believe that racism is something that is "fine" however the effects are often bad because it influences us to believe we can treat a person a certain color a certain way and I believe that in the future maybe a decade or two will be seen as something that is morally wrong and is not done even among young generations as we all join hands together.  Summary: Today in class we read over a short article over how child labor was soon abolished and what led up to that.
