If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response: If I had to choose/describe how I show love using three objects I would choose a tootsie roll lollipop, a long detailed book or novel which I would personally choose Lotm (Lord of the Mysteries), and last but not least a grey jacket that I always wear which is what I'm wearing today. The first object would show my love or personality by showing that while I don't show it outwardly much and while it's sweet the inside of it is worth noticing and I always look into the deeper aspects, the second object which is a detailed book or novel represents the fact that I can talk on and on about anything or something they want and not leave them bored, the third object...well the grey jacket I always wear reminds me of that no matter what comes my way or "our" way that everything will be alright as we're protected from the cold or harshness of the world as I give warmth while everything is cold.

Summary: Today in class we wrote a poem that we would give to a person of significance in our lives tomorrow on Valentine's day.

Reflection: Today I learned that love is not about looking at what a person does alone, but on how they feel about every aspect of it as it leads to getting to know them better. This impacted me by making me feel a sense of clarity of furthering my insights on knowing a person's or characters complexity compared to what everyone sees which is what I always try to do. In the future I will use this when doing more literacy analysis and to be more empathetic towards the other person fostering my emotional skills and literature skills.
