Even if you have not presented yet, how did participating as a listener, note-taker, or responder during the Interactive Oral help you prepare for your own discussion?

 Prompt Response: When our group had not presented yet yesterday and not knowing how to present it, we actually got inspiration from them by implementing adding questions while explaining it to really tie the audience in an emotional aspect to connect with the story from a presentation of just spouting words and information as well as being knowledgeable on our own subject which really shows the expertise that we had. As a listener I verified what I had read and my own analysis of the chapter myself which served more as a review rather than something I learned from which further grounded my knowledge on that specific chapter, I also asked bits of pieces about the chapter they did to follow along with how the story goes, as a responder I provided deep well thought-out answers that shared my perspective on each discussion questions they said. 

Summary: Today in class we did our Interactive Oral for my group on Chapter 11: The Lou out of Lou. To which we discussed and engaged with the class. 

Reflection: Today I learned from my Interactive Oral that it wasn't as bad as it seemed and I had wished for a bit more time compared to how nervous I was before and I had thought I was going to stutter, but I didn't even stutter once but instead passionately going into it. This impacted me by making me feel more confident in myself and my capabilities that I can actually speak without looking at notes or my 'guidelines' when talking about content or material that is regarding what we've been learning about. In the future I will use this experience as a memorable moment that I can use to further my abilities in the presentation aspect in order to speak about the material better and be able to get better grades through it when I attend college after the military.
