Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Prompt Response: A real moment in my life that felt like the beginning to a powerful story was yesterday when my mom and her husband broke up and this significantly impacted me by making me feel despair but also to continue on as I went back to Khan academy and made some progress not letting it affect me even though it did to continue on to now pursue my new established goal of getting my life together and being well financially to have the stability that I so dreamed of during my childhood.

Summary: Today in class we listened to two groups of our peers on their focus lens doing their group presentations and also answered some discussion questions.

Reflection: Today I learned that Cheryl's external circumstances can show internal problems. This fact affected me by making me feel as if their is a wall I have to climb when it comes to my literacy skills and analysis in order to broaden my horizons when it comes to it. In the future I will use this as a piece of development that will further my improvement and adaptability when it comes to literacy devices and analysis.
