After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.

 Prompt Response: After viewing my classmates digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on my work, Some new ideas or perspectives that I gained about my work is that not everyone see's the stroke of art that I created the way I do. One comment that stood out to me was Perla's comment of being well thought out and giving good advice, the advice being of making my simile's and metaphors more shorter that readers could get the meaning more clearly which stood out as an initial problem when people read my short poetry but also because it allows them to see things in a different light. The creative process of designing my poster was the fact that I had decided that this would be my first time putting in full effort into the design of it, unfortunately it didn't go as I intended but it did look good and overall I'm pretty happy with it since it was first just a white page with boxes on it. 

Summary: Today in class we commented on each other's posters and read our classmate's metaphors and similes that they wrote on their posters, afterwards giving them helpful feedback. 

Reflection: Today I learned that even if you think something could, if other people can't understand the meaning of it then it loses its value as a piece of work. This impacted me by making me feel a bit down at first but ultimately with the comment's help I learned of my shortcomings when creating simile's and metaphors and thus I plan on improving it later on if I ever need to do it again. In the future I will use this as a deep reflection in improving not only my visual design choices, but also my writing so I can get more people to praise it rather than them looking at it questionably.

 Prompt Response: When someone called me an idiot, as they said "Why is someone like you part of our group, your the most idiotic and unhelpful person I met". It made my self-esteem lower by a whole bunch of points and sooner or later I stopped trying in my classes to what defined that title for me as what I thought was idiotic;what an idiot was and made me interact with others less.  Summary: Today in class we went over a short essay "Incident" by Countee Cullen, and analyzed the poem; As well as discussing what the poem was about and the two themes of it. Before the Civil War, most people saw nothing wrong with children working long hours. Over time, people began to see it as unfair and even cruel.  Prompt Response: Something we still accept that will most likely be seen as wrong and not done in the future is racism as we start to see as a society it is mixed as sometimes it can often be seen as good and bad. In today's society we believe that racism is something that is "fine" however the effects are often bad because it influences us to believe we can treat a person a certain color a certain way and I believe that in the future maybe a decade or two will be seen as something that is morally wrong and is not done even among young generations as we all join hands together.  Summary: Today in class we read over a short article over how child labor was soon abolished and what led up to that.
