How have the holidays changed as you have grown older? Compare your experiences of the holidays during childhood with how you experience them now, focusing on shifts in perspective, responsibilities, or emotional meaning.
Prompt Response: As I grow older, the holidays for me have changed a lot from the once naive kid who believed in false fantasy's to now where as I'm starting to realize that you often contemplate you're life when you're by yourself or quite literally having nothing to do. To me emotionally speaking, right now it's just stale and empty compared to back then where I felt it was so full of life.
Summary: Today in class I presented along with my group in front of the class, as well as watching The Color Purple film along with our peers and teacher.
Reflection: Today I learned that in the movie they portray the start of the movie in a different light leaving a questionable feel of what I read from the book. This impacted me by making me feel this strangeness at what I witnessed, since if we compare the novel to the movie then at the beginning of the movie it leaves us with some questions even though throughout the movie it was quite similar of leaving even more questions in my opinion. In the future I might use this in my final, where I have to present 6 objects maybe.
