Creating a video is more than just placing pictures together—it’s about capturing a feeling. Explain how you tried to bring your assigned letter to life in your Adobe Express video. What mood were you aiming for, and how did your editing choices help you communicate the message or emotion of the letter?
Prompt Response: I tried to bring my assigned letter to life by trying to make the music tie into the quotes and add images that show it directly. I was aiming for sadness at the beginning of the presentation and middle of the presentation, near the end I was looking for hopeful. Although the photos that I chose turned out to be bad and I should have gone for animation instead, I feel like in the future I have a lot to improve on despite this failure. My editing choices helped me communicate the letter by allowing me to pull on the heart strings by the music but what I realized was that just having one theme of music is much better than having multiple even if it convey's one emotion, it doesn't really make it confusing for the audience.
Summary: Today in class we watched our classmate's presentations and presented ours telling our inspiration behind it at first.
Reflection: Today I have learned from my experience that I should have taken the proper time to make sure my presentation looked good. This impacted me by making me feel embarrassed internally while my presentation was up there due to how bad the quality of the images was and how hard it was to read the words on the screen for some of them as well as the shifting of the music. In the future I will use this experience as only a setback and a learning experience as even though I fall today and I hit the ground, I can still climb and improve much more next time.
