Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Prompt Response: A time when someone's words had a lasting impact on me was when a girl/friend said she cared about me which meant a lot during our friendship, to this day we are still friends although she is quite boring sometimes and plain like yogurt. But despite that I still like her for who she is, anyways she is a friend I cherish out my my very small circle of friends I have.

Summary: Today in class we presented each of our posters about the characters in Fences, and listened and watched our classmates present their characters they were given.

Reflection: Today I learned that Rose was empathetic in the story, the reason why I learned this was because I didn't read the story and had assumed that Cory cheated on her because she wasn't a good wife for him. This impacted me by piquing my curiosity on why in the world did Cory cheat on Rose, was it because he cheated on her for the thrill of it? Either way it impacted me by shifting my perspective or view of the character Rose in the book "Fences". In the future I will use this for the assessment that is tomorrow of the book or when I'm reading it to have a better understanding of the characters inside the book and predict any foreshadowing that might occur.
