Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 Prompt Response: A time where I felt I was judged unfairly was online when I was playing a shooter game and only because I was at the bottom compared to my team based off one game, they assumed I was trash. So on forth that was a time where I felt I was judged unfairly only because of an off day.

Summary: Today in class we took a CommonLit Assessment. 

Reflection: Today I learned that social situations such as isolation can cause a person or group of people to have them do bad things to others that they don't see as "Normal". This impacted me by making me feel curious since everyday social topic in school always go over bullying and it's impact to the victim, the bully, and the bystanders; Which made me wonder on how far would a person go to hurt another based on a social situation. In the future I will use this in situations where I notice others feeling isolated and help them.

 Prompt Response: My parents have told me that I was born in Mumbai and in a hospital and when I was being born the umbilical cord was around my neck depriving me of oxygen. My mother had the instinct that something was wrong and so on that was how I was then born early for my mom's 48 hours of labor which to this day she goes on about it each time I try and ask for money and then talks about the labor she went through and paying it back.  Prompt Response: When someone called me an idiot, as they said "Why is someone like you part of our group, your the most idiotic and unhelpful person I met". It made my self-esteem lower by a whole bunch of points and sooner or later I stopped trying in my classes to what defined that title for me as what I thought was idiotic;what an idiot was and made me interact with others less.  Summary: Today in class we went over a short essay "Incident" by Countee Cullen, and analyzed the poem; As well as discussing what the poem was about and the two themes of it. Before the Civil War, most people saw nothing wrong with children working long hours. Over time, people began to see it as unfair and even cruel. What is something that society once accepted but now sees as wrong, or something we still accept today that might be viewed as wrong in the future? Explain your reasoning.

 Prompt Response: Something we still accept that will most likely be seen as wrong and not done in the future is racism as we start to see as a society it is mixed as sometimes it can often be seen as good and bad. In today's society we believe that racism is something that is "fine" however the effects are often bad because it influences us to believe we can treat a person a certain color a certain way and I believe that in the future maybe a decade or two will be seen as something that is morally wrong and is not done even among young generations as we all join hands together.  Summary: Today in class we read over a short article over how child labor was soon abolished and what led up to that.
