Write about something that you believed as a child.

Prompt Response: Something that I had believed as a child is that there were monsters lurking in the dark. So when I was a child I would normally hide under the sheets against these "monsters". But now that I am grown now I realize no such thing exists.

Summary: I was not here in class today.

Reflection: I can't really say I learned anything today except that maybe a person can be a better person by changing the things that influence them such as the things surrounding them. This impacted me by making me feel a bit remorseful over the fact that as humans we tend to make mistakes, but it's not good to keep repeating those mistakes; otherwise nothing really changes. In the future I will use this to reflect on myself and keep pushing forward for the me of today so I don't leave the me of tomorrow dead.
