What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt Response: The most creative thing that I ever made was a story about a few characters I made up. Although my writing was bad at the time, I was improving till I stopped. The reason why it stands as my best work is because it's one of the things I enjoyed the most and the most creative in terms of an idea of the story being action related mainly compared to a few others. (I like reading novels)

Summary: Today in class we went over a short poem called "The Korean Dream" made by: Sharon Lee. We discussed how this poem relates to cultural identity. Then we got started on doing our poems for the rest of the period.

Reflection: Today in class I learned more aspects about cultural identity such as feeling excluded or not enough. This impacted me by being able to resemble the character in the story to myself. Also being able to put similar elements from the poem into mine for any ideas for my own cultural identity short poem. In the future I plan to use this for any future works (poems, short stories, or stories in general, etc.), or as a reference point to compare writings of other authors to my own.
