Describe something you will never fully understand

 Prompt Response: Something I will never fully understand is what's a person's reason to live or fall onto a path that seems like it's empty. Is it to enjoy what they achieve? Is it just to make an effort towards a certain outcome to where their story gets passed down from generation to generation? Many people live their lives for countless reasons, some very few, but in the end we all live for one reason and one reason only. We are scared of death. 

Summary: Today in class we listened and watched our classmates present their cultural identity poems. As well as me presenting my own cultural identity poem called "The Boy who was Lost"

Reflection: Today I learned many things about my classmates cultural identity. This impacted me by showing more elements to how they view their own cultural identity which affected the way I viewed them overall. In the future I might or may not use this to talk to peers or get close to classmates, even though I know that I probably won't.

Clothing is often tied to identity and culture. Describe an outfit or style you like that may not fit what others expect from you. How have people responded, and what does this reveal about stereotypes in society?

 Prompt Response: An outfit/style that I like that may not fit what others expect from me is the gothic/emo style of clothing and the way I present it due to my own personality. People might respond to this nowadays positively as it's something new that you don't see everyday that really show's that you're not like others, however if it was back in the early 2000's it might be seen as cringy and weird. This reveals about stereotypes in society that while nowadays their are a lot of positive things about it and seen in a good light, there are others even from back then that may not like the style due to their own experiences and from what they know/see.  Summary: Today in class we watched a short film about a girl having imposed masculine stereotypes on her and answered some questions and then worked on our presentations.  Reflection: Today I learned that stereotypes can tie down to the way we dress ourselves. Describe a time when you felt completely lost.

 Prompt Response: A time where I felt completely lost was when I was going through the motions of life and not being able to do anything about it only facing failure over and over to the point I was debating whether I should give up or not. It was a suffocating and despairing moment of my life to go through something like that which led me towards a downward spiral externally and internally about my problems. As well as another moment where I felt completely lost was moving schools and making new friends, it felt isolating and bad to make new friends since they were pretty much the equivalent of strangers.  Summary: Today in class we presented each of our masks about our cultural identity.
